Statement
Project Mutual Telephone, founded in 1916 in Rupert, Idaho, is a communication company that provides local and long-distance telephone service, high speed, and wireless internet, as well as cable television for homes and businesses.
Our client needed a supplier of Idaho office furniture for their office. So we provided and accommodated six private offices and two l shaped workstations in an open office space. The challenge that the client brought to us was: how to create privacy in an open plan office?
After considering all the requirements and site conditions, we were able to present a surprisingly simple solution: modular office walls. These reusable and highly affordable interior office walls come in a fixed range of height modules and are available in a plethora of finishes and colors. Modular office walls with door panels are a quick and economical solution to creating private office spaces in an open office area.
In this project, our space planners designed six private workspaces using 85”- high fabric panel walls. All six offices have a u shaped desk setup, offering ample desktop surface areas for each user to work very comfortably. Aesthetically similar sit to stand workstations were specified in Offices M2, M3, M4, and M6 to ensure enhanced work mode flexibility and promote workplace health.
As shown, our office space designers also replaced standard square desk legs with office storage under desk units, optimizing space saving in the office.
Finally, to customize these private office designs, we included tackboards and cubicle shelves as desk accessories, and to make those long workdays much more comfortable, ergonomic seating high back mesh office chairs with headrests were provided to all users.
