Hotel Edison is a historic Times Square hotel that’s been standing since the 1930’s. It gives an authentic NY experience to visitors, with the tremendous advantage of being within walking distance of major Broadway shows.

In 2016 the hotel underwent renovations, including upgrades to the employee locker room designs. As with most back of house areas space was extremely limited, so we had to do some careful space planning optimization.

For both the men’s & women’s rooms we created a locker room layout that includes single and double tier lockers to accommodate flexibility for different types of staff locker room storage needs.

These 66” tall storage lockers have ventilated doors to help prevent humidity or odor buildup from the items stored inside, and angled tops to prevent dust buildup and/or forgotten items placed overhead. The locker door handles accommodate standard padlocks.

We specified a neutral light grey powder coat finish for the more than 250 metal locker cabinets, which helps the space feel simple and uncluttered, and highlights the historic exposed brick interior.
