Modular Office Walls 92
Client: Law Offices of Socheat Chea
Location: Duluth, GA
Date: February, 2012
Project Code: SOCHEAT1KN
Statement
Founded in 1992, the Law Offices of Socheat Chea, P.C. provide excellent legal counsel and advocacy in almost every area of immigration law with a unique focus on meeting the immigration needs of researchers and scholars.
Our client needed to divide their raw office space in Duluth GA into 4 separate, private office spaces for their attorneys. However, they preferred to avoid the single-use investment of permanent construction and opted for movable partition walls for their law office design instead.
We used 85” high modular walls from our versatile O2™ modular office system to create spacious private office cubicles with doors. The modular offices vary in size from 11’x11’9” to 11’x15’9”.
We secured fabric cubicle panels to the rear building wall to create office dividing walls. These office partitions not only provide sight and sound separation from room to room, but also conceal electrical and data cabling in the panel bases.
We maintained the same 85” height for the office fronts but included a half-height window panel next to each cubicle door to allow light flow as well as a means to visually acknowledge visitors prior to entry.
The client wanted a simple, practical, neutral color scheme befitting of a law office environment. We specified cream office panels with grey office doors and trim paint.
The result is functional, surprisingly affordable cubicle offices that can be easily dismantled and reconfigured as the company’s requirements grow and change.
