Alabama One Credit Union is a financial institution serving 22 counties in Alabama, has been voted Tuscaloosa's "Best of the Best" 2 years in a row, and recently named Forbes Magazine Best-in-State Credit Union.

This Alabama office furniture installation project had a tight timeline, a tight budget, and a tight amount of space to work with – but we love an office design challenge. We needed to create a cubicle floorplan that would comfortably fit nearly 2 dozen call center cubicles and 3 manager cubicles within 1,100 sq ft.

Due to the cloud-based digital nature of this division there was no need for large desks or an abundance of office storage units for physical files, but instead a need for efficient office space optimization and visibility.

Our solution was simple, functional, and most importantly, quick to ship! We created a simple call center layout design using small cubicles from our O2™ Corporate Cubicles Systems. Three clusters of 5’ x 2’ x 53”H rectangular office workstations form teams of 8. A slightly larger rectangular desk sits at the head of each workstation cluster where the supervisor can see their entire team.

Speaking of seeing, cubicle windows can help. The manager’s desk is fully wrapped with partial glass cubicle walls (39”H fabric + 14”H glass), with additional cubicle walls with windows in between workstation desks to allow full oversight of every worker’s productivity at all times. We equipped every station with a black metal filing cabinet and  Gogo Mesh Desk Chair to provide maximum comfort during those long work days.

This practical and affordable office furniture solution was exactly in line with our client’s budget and a pressing timeline. They appreciated our urgency and professionalism and were delighted with the outcome.
