Our skilled office space planners faced a not so unfamiliar challenge with this project: fitting the maximum number of cubicle desks into the client’s existing space. To optimize this office layout, a comprehensive office renovation project was undertaken during which interior walls were moved and door swing directions were changed.

The client was in the market for a cubicle style office with a twist, and in keeping to their corporate color palette, they were open to introducing refreshing blue office furniture in their workspace. On entering the open office area, the eye is drawn to two sensational sets of v shaped desk clusters. Low cubicle walls with clear tempered glass desk dividers, were used to create a sense of openness that would encourage work collaboration between colleagues. In line with recent office social distancing guidelines, these desk screens act as a shield, providing a transparent physical barrier between employees when seated. Each workstation desk was provided a metal mobile pedestal offering each employee sufficient personal and office storage.

We used high cubicle walls to create significantly more privacy in the manager’s office and populated it with pragmatic modular office furniture that resulted in a decidedly comfortable office layout with visitor chairs and sufficient document storage solutions.

For the manager’s assistant our office space planner created a one-person privacy cubicle adjacent to the executive office to optimize workflow. The large L shaped desk offers plenty of workspace, ideal for document-intensive administrative tasks.

The glass wall conference room was furnished with an elegant, boat shaped meeting table and luxury executive conference room chairs.

Finally, the invigorating office color combination of the crisp white office walls, white desktop surfaces blue cubicle panels and the ocean blue carpet, makes for a bright, lively, and most importantly, happy work environment.
